This kiln is suitable for copper enameling, glass fusing & slumping and PMC work. The 146GFE runs on 120 volts and is equipped with a Bartlett RTC-1000 electronic controller designed specifically for glass. This kiln can be configured as a conventional top-loader or as a clamshell depending upon your needs. (Clamshell option changes kiln to a 146GFETLC) A glass quartz porthole may be added for viewing glass within the kiln during firing. A punty (bead) door may be added to assist with glass bead annealing. Elements in the lid and sidewalls provide accurate, even heating throughout the kiln and enhanced control during slumping and fusing-- the electronic controller allows you to get accurate results time after time.
