Olympic Glass Fusing kilns are built with elements in the lid as well as in the sides, insuring even heating. They are rated at cone 07 or 1700ºF. The glass quartz porthole option may be added for viewing glass within the kiln while firing. Olympic Oval glass kilns are made with 3" brick, which provides 20% more insulation for a stronger, more efficient furnace. The stretched firing chamber means more usable space, so even the largest most awkward glass pieces fit easily. Kiln comes equipped with an RTC-1000 Digital control designed specifically for glass. This controller allows the flexibility to program "on the fly" and make changes to the program while firing. Stores up to six user programs with eight segments per program and programs 5 & 6 can be combined to create a 16-segment program. The controller will add time in 5 minute increments, has 3 speeds - slow, medium, fast - multi-zone control, delay start, alarm, error codes. The 3 Key Controller is also available on this model.
