All Coyote Glazes are LEAD FREE.Get all the richness and variety of gas fired glazes in your own electric kiln. Coyote Cone 6 Glazes are have been formulated to be beautiful, reliable, and economical. They are lead free and perfect for student use, as well as the first choice of many professionals. Blue Matt, Green Matt, Iron Matt, Purple Matt and Turquoise are not recommended for food use. May change color or texture with repeated exposure to food and dishwasher detergents. All other glazes are FOOD SAFE when properly fired. Fire Opal, Orange, Pumpkin Red, Red Orange, Rhubarb and Sunset Pink contain Cadmium in the form of inclusion stains; in Coyote's testing, all of these glazes passed leaching tests for cadmium release.
